A professional fashion model is offering to wear a t-shirt promoting any brand for a day. Tanaya Henry, a 21-year old whose modeling credentials include L’Oreal, Microsoft, VH1, and Sephora, says she’ll not only wear a branded t-shirt, she’ll also “do a professional photo shoot wearing your t-shirt, write a blog post about how kick-ass your company is, and I’ll even talk about your company to all of my model friends.”
She also promises to post pictures of her wearing the t-shirt to her Flickr, Facebook, and Twitter accounts. (via Brandchannel | Fashion Model Pitches Brands On T-Shirts)Great idea; works wonders for her own publicity; much better than selling pixels for advertising.

Actual football played in a 60-min NFL game: about 11 minutes.
So what do the networks do with the other 174 minutes in a typical broadcast? Not surprisingly, commercials take up about an hour. As many as 75 minutes, or about 60% of the total air time, excluding commercials, is spent on shots of players huddling, standing at the line of scrimmage or just generally milling about between snaps.

This past season I discovered the only way to watch a football game. Set it to record, then start it up about 30 minutes later. Then, not only fast forward through commercials, but also hit the ‘jump ahead 30 seconds’ button on your DirecTV remote after a play is over. Without fail you see every play, and only the plays.
Some 3-year old (punk) kid made fun of my haircut at my son’s day care, so I (of course) made fun of his.
It seems that maturity comes with neither age nor parenthood.

Click yes to say no. I can never tell if things like this are a clever ploy to trick the the user into subscribing or simply a terrible UI design choice.
